Spring Gilbert Citizens' Academy Applications Now Open
Gilbert, Ariz. - The Spring session of the Gilbert Police Citizens' Academy is now open for applications! This program offers Gilbert residents a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the operations of the Gilbert Police Department.
Over the course of 13 weeks, participants will gain insight into various aspects of law enforcement. Upon graduation, attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and an invitation to join the Citizens' Police Academy Alumni Association.

- Firearms Safety and Orientation

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of application
- Live, work, or attend school in the Town of Gilbert
- No prior felony arrests
- No misdemeanor arrests within the past five years
- Successfully pass a background check conducted by the Gilbert Police Department
