The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently held one ribbon cutting in Waverly, presenting one new business with a First Dollar Award and one existing business with a Progress Award.

The Ambassadors met with founder and CEO Kerri VanEe to present a Progress Award in celebration of Essence Aesthetics and Health reaching five years of business in Waverly. Over the past five years, Essence Aesthetics and Health have provided a range of wellness and aesthetic services designed to help clients look and feel their best. With a focus on personalized care, professionalism, and client confidence, the business has built a strong reputation within the community. This milestone reflects Essence's dedication to their clients and the commitment to growing a trusted, high-quality service in Waverly.

The Ambassadors met with owner Angie Frost-Salisbury and vendors to present a First Dollar Award in celebration of the opening of Midwestern Vintage & Friends, located at 117 W Bremer Avenue in Waverly. The new shop offers a unique collection of vintage finds, curated goods, and specialty items from a variety of vendors, creating a welcoming space for shoppers to discover one-of-a-kind treasures. With a focus on creativity, community, and supporting small businesses, Midwestern Vintage & Friends adds a distinctive retail experience to downtown Waverly. Angie's vision brings together a mix of styles and sellers, making the store a vibrant addition to the local shopping scene.

The Waverly Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Program serves as a public relations arm of the Waverly Chamber by welcoming new businesses, recognizing business expansion efforts, and recruiting new members to the organization.
