Northbound Fairview Street between 5th Street and Civic Center Drive will be closed June 17

OCTA announced that beginning as early as 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, northbound Fairview Street between 5th Street and Civic Center Drive will be closed until 4 p.m. to allow crews to make adjustments to the train control warning system for the OC Streetcar. Drivers traveling north on Fairview will be detoured via 5th Street, Hawley Street and Civic Center Drive before reconnecting with Fairview. Trucks traveling north on Fairview will be detoured via 5th Street, Raitt Street and Civic Center Drive before reconnecting with Fairview. If work is completed ahead of schedule, the road will reopen earlier. In the event of weather or operational issues, the work may be delayed. Thank you.
