Clearing snow and ice is ongoing, but stay cautious and alert this winter

Our DPW crews are out salting streets and intersections, but roadways are already frozen and will stay icy with the deep freeze expected to continue until next week. Please take it slow, leave extra room for stopping, and give DPW vehicles plenty of space to work.

It wouldn't be a Michigan December without a little ice, so let's all stay cautious and look out for one another.

Let's all do our part to keep Livonia safe:

• Clear snow and ice from your sidewalks
• Use sand, chemical ice melt, or de-icer for better traction
• Check on neighbors who might need a hand
