Austin, Texas (Aug. 24, 2026) - At Superminds Academy - MindSee, superpowers feel within reach. The interactive family workshop co-founded by neuropsychologist Dr. Ann DeSollar and educator Elena Restrepo, and presented by Fever, will make its Austin debut on October 10. The 75-minute experience, designed for children ages 4 through 16, invites kids and their parents to explore focus, communication, and intuition through blindfolded exercises, sensory games, and collaborative challenges, turning attention training into playful, hands-on activities that encourage concentration and connection. Seeing through a blindfold may sound impossible, but children are capable of much more than we often realize. At Superminds Academy - MindSee, children are given the opportunity to explore this remarkable ability in a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation and discovery. Along the way, they build confidence and develop a deeper awareness of how they perceive and process the world around them-all while sharing the experience with their parents. A Hands-On Workshop Built Around Focus, Communication, and Trust

Participants move through a progression of activities while blindfolded, beginning with simple 2D exercises involving colors, patterns and numbers before advancing to 3D challenges using cups, tactile objects, sorting games and fine-motor tasks. As the exercises become more complex, participants are encouraged to rely less on sight and more on their ability to process information, communicate clearly and work together, while having fun!

A Meaningful Shared Experience for Families

Parents are not spectators, and participate alongside their children through each challenge, particularly during blindfolded exercises where trust, observation, and teamwork become essential. Led by trained facilitators, the experience creates a playful, supportive environment free from screens and distractions, where families can slow down, challenge their perception and discover new ways of solving problems together.
