Smile cookie campaign to benefit OGH maternity and delivery services

OLEAN, NY -Make a difference in your community and enjoy a tasty treat while doing so by purchasing a smile cookie from April 27 through May 3 at participating local Tim Hortons locations. Smile cookies purchased throughout the week will benefit Olean General Hospital (OGH) with 100% of the proceeds benefitting maternity and delivery services thanks to a partnership with Tim Hortons.

Smile cookies are $2 each and can be purchased at these participating locations; Allegany Tim Hortons located at 3012 NY-417, Olean, NY, Olean Tim Hortons located at 501 N Union St., Olean, NY, and Olean location at 1401 E. State St., Olean, NY. Purchasing a smile cookie is the perfect way to a give a smile and get a smile!

Having access to high-quality maternity care locally means families can stay close to home during one of life's most important moments. In 2025, the OGH maternity and delivery department welcomed more than 580 babies. The unit features private labor and delivery suites, 24/7 obstetric coverage and family-centered rooming-in support. The experienced team also provides support services, including lactation support, ensuring both mothers and newborns receive comprehensive, personalized care.

The Smile Cookie program began as a fundraiser selling cookies to benefit Hamilton Children's Hospital in Ontario, Canada in 1996 and has evolved into an all-out fundraising campaign to support children's hospitals and charities across the U.S. and Canada. The cookies - a standard chocolate chip - are simple, sweet and unique with each one decorated by different team members and guests, ensuring that no two look the exact same. The Smile Cookie campaign has a legacy, with over $90 million raised since its inception.
