Kansas City area maintenance work for Sept. 15-19

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Sept. 15-19. All work is weather permitting.

CASS COUNTY

Route B bridge over South Grand River between Route T and S Cantrell Rd.: lane reduction with temporary traffic signal from Monday, Sept. 8 until Wednesday, Sept. 10., from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for bridge work.

JACKSON COUNT Y

Missouri Highway 350 eastbound between Noland Rd. and Colbern Rd.: left lane closed on Monday, Sept. 15, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for brush cutting.

Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Cobern Rd.: flagging operations from Tuesday, Sept. 16, until Wednesday, Sept. 17, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Interstate 35 northbound at Independence Ave.: right lane closed from Monday, Sept. 15 until Friday, Sept. 19, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for embankment work.

Independence Ave. westbound over Interstate 35: right lane closed from Monday, Sept. 15 until Friday, Sept. 19, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for embankment work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route BB between Missouri Business Highway 13 and Route F: flagging operation from Monday, Sept. 15 until Thursday, Sept. 18, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

SALINE COUNTY

Route T between U.S. Highway 65 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Monday, Sept. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Missouri Highway 122 between Missouri Highway 41 and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Monday, Sept. 15, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Route F: flagging operations from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for seal coating.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 16: between MO-41 and Route O
  • Wednesday, Sept. 17: between Route O and Route M

Route M between Route F and Missouri Highway 240: flagging operations on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
