Overnight lane closures planned Thursday on SH-45 in Nampa

NAMPA - The Idaho Transportation Department will close the southbound lanes of State Highway 45 between East Clark Avenue and West Dewey Avenue overnight Thursday, Feb. 19, for utility work related to repairing the Elijah Drain.

Work will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be shifted to the center lane, and at least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. The work area is located just south of the intersection of SH-45 and West Dewey Avenue.

Crews will use this opportunity to dig small holes to verify the location of an underground water line ahead of future construction activities.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down in the work zone and check 511.idaho.gov or the 511 mobile app for updates on traffic impacts.

The Idaho Transportation Department is responsible for an integrated network of more than 12,000 lane miles and more than 1,800 bridges and is committed to serving all Idahoans by enhancing quality of life through transportation. Learn more at itd.idaho.gov.
