Rep. Mark Harris Celebrates Committee Passage of the Homeschool Graduation Recognition Act
WASHINGTON, DC - On Thursday, Congressman Mark Harris (NC-08) celebrated the unanimous passage of his Homeschool Graduation Recognition Actby the House Education and Workforce Committee.
Congressman Harris said, "Today's successful markup of my bipartisan bill, the Homeschool Graduation Recognition Act, is an important step toward ending discrimination against homeschooled students. If a homeschool graduate meets or exceeds the very same academic standards as a public-school graduate, they deserve equal treatment under the law-no exceptions, no excuses."
