Investing more than $230 million in higher pay and expanded benefits for Whole Foods Market team members
Starting January 1, 2027, U.S. Whole Foods Market team members will gain access to Amazon's comprehensive benefits, making our offering one of the most competitive packages in the retail industry. Cybersecurity expert Kevin Mandia joins Amazon's Board of Directors
Kevin Mandia, a widely recognized cybersecurity expert with more than 30 years of experience combating cyber threats across the public and private sectors, was elected to Amazon's Board of Directors on September 8. Mandia is the founder and CEO of Armadin, Inc. and the co-founder and general partner of Ballistic Ventures. He also founded and previously served as the CEO of Mandiant, Inc.

Amazon and Wiwynn announced an expansion of Wiwynn's manufacturing facility in Socorro, Texas, expected to create nearly 1,000 new advanced manufacturing jobs by the end of 2027. The facility manufactures server systems and racks for Amazon's data center infrastructure, strengthening the domestic supply chain by bringing custom hardware production to the U.S.
