The Annual ISO Forecasting Summit offers a unique platform for ISO representatives worldwide to discuss the latest short- and long-term forecasting challenges and solutions in an open and collegial environment. This two-and-a-half day event features a blend of peer presentations, modeling discussions and roundtable dialogues. This year, the summit will take place from Sept. 17-19 in Chicago, Illinois.
During a recent virtual planning meeting, representatives from CAISO, ERCOT, TVA, ISONE, AESO, AEMO and PJM, among others, outlined the agenda topics. They agreed to lead presentations on a wide range of subjects, including:
• Processes, challenges and solutions
• Forecasting techniques and improvements
• Data availability and issues
• Technology impacts
• Wind and solar generation
• Extreme weather
The current agenda is available for review. Questions and additional topics should be directed to Shannon Ashburn. Participation and attendance at this event are limited to ISO/RTO/TSO/DSO representatives. Register today!
