LAVC Fall Scholarships Now Open!
The Valley College Foundation has several Fall Scholarships now available! To apply: Log in to your mycollege.laccd.edu Student Portal , click on the "Scholarship Tile", and then click on "Login Here" next to the Student Log In. The Fall application deadline is October 16, 2026 at midnight. If you have questions, contact [email protected] .
Parking Passes are Now Required
A parking permit is required to park in any campus parking lot. Buy a $20 Fall Parking Permit at the Business Office, or buy a $2 daily parking permits from a parking pay station (cash only; selected pay stations accept cash and credit card).
Need to Charge Your Electric Vehicle?
Electric Vehicle (EV) parking is at the Parking Structure. If you park at an EV charging stall, you need to pay a $5 daily EV charging fee , in addition to displaying a valid parking permit. Parking is enforced at all times at EV charging stalls.

The San Fernando Valley Goes to College Fair
Saturday, October 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Monarch Square
Come to the SFV College Fair to meet with representatives from over 70 colleges and universities (including UCs, CSUs, private colleges, out-of-state universities, and international institutions). Attend informative workshops, explore transfer and educational opportunities, and connect with more than 35 LAVC departments, programs, and student services.

The 2026 General Election is on Tuesday, November 3. The last day to register to vote online is October 19, 2026. Register to vote .
