Get ready to welcome spring with a day of fun, fresh air, and family memories at the Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center! Join us on April 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for "Let's Fly a Kite", a free, family-friendly kite-flying celebration along the beautiful riverfront.
Bring your favorite kite and watch it soar high above the river as you enjoy the open sky and scenic views. Pack a picnic lunch, grab your lawn chairs, and settle in for a relaxing and playful day outdoors with family and friends. Complimentary popcorn will be available from the Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center.
Guests can enjoy an exciting scavenger hunt designed for all ages. The items in the scavenger hunt can be found outside on the Sgt. Floyd grounds - exploring nature and the beauty of the riverfront is all part of the experience! Once completed, return the scavenger hunt to a Welcome Center attendant to receive a fun surprise!
Whether you're flying a kite, exploring, or simply soaking up the day, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
