Outstanding on the Arts Landing

This year's Three Rivers Arts Festival includes Squonk's colorful musical playground, a performance by alternative hip-hop legends the Pharcyde, "vertical dance" by Bandaloop and a show by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. And don't forget the always-hopping artists market.

To see or not to see? Watch free movies at Dollar Bank Cinema in the Park, including Hamnet on June 10 and Creed on June 17. Several screenings will also be held in Schenley Plaza later in the summer.

Watch competitors achieve new heights in Pogopalooza, the world championships of pogo. Athletes compete across events like high jump, trick and "big air." You can try your hand (foot?) at it, too, with opportunities for anyone to pogo for free.

There are no shortage of pride events to choose from - one nearby option (just a 93 bus away from Oakland) is Lawrenceville Pride, featuring local makers, food trucks, music, drag and more. The event and its after-party at Spirit raise money for five LGBTQ+ organizations.
