Survey Operations on Kimberly Avenue in New Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that survey operations will be performed on Kimberly Avenue in New Haven, between Ella T. Grasso Blvd and the I-95 overpass. This project is scheduled to occur on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The project 0092-0681PE consists of Intersect improvements at CT 10 & SR 745 & Kimberly Ave, including widening for dedicated turn lanes on Route 10 approaches, drainage, traffic sig. replacement, reconstruction of sidewalks, landscaping, & relocation of utilities.

This project is being performed by State Forces.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be lane closures on Kimberly Avenue between Ella T. Grasso Blvd and the I-95 overpass, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Traffic control signing will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
