2025 Fall Cleanup Day, Saturday, Sept 27, 2025
The 2025 Fall Clean Up Day will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, for City of Jackson residents.
The City of Jackson is holding an event to help residents with Fall cleaning. The City Cleanup event will be held on Saturday, Sept 27, 2025, from 7:30 am till 11:30 am. There will be two locationsfor drop-off. Department of Public Works/(DPW) Operations Center at 521 Water St and Nixon Park at 400 E. North St.
Upon arrival at either location, residents will enter the drop-off line and be directed by staff to the drop-off zones. Motorists can enter from Morrell St for the DPW Operations Center and from E. North Street for Nixon Park. Residents are asked to exit your vehicle and assist in the drop-off of your items if you are able to do so.
Items that WILL BE accepted are grass clippings, leaves, brush, boxes, furniture, washers, mattresses, dryers, stoves, clothes, shoes, metal and paper products.
Items that WILL NOT be accepted are batteries, tires, kitchen garbage, paint, liquid waste, appliances that contain or have contained freon, hazardous waste, electronics, motor oil and concrete/rocks.
This event is funded by the City of Jackson; therefore, it is available only to City of Jackson residents. Must present a photo id at drop-off.
