Chinese Consul General in Davao Zhao Xiuzhen Attends the Closing Ceremony of Farmers’ and Fisherfolks’ Month Celebration Hosted by DA-11

On May 30, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen attended the closing ceremony of the Farmers' and Fisherfolks' Month celebration organized by the Department of Agriculture in Davao Region (DA-11) .

In her speech, Consul General Zhao highlighted the strong complementarity between China and the Davao region in agricultural trade, technology, research collaboration, and green development, expressing optimism about the vast potential for deeper cooperation. She encouraged enhanced communication and exchanges to elevate China-Philippines agricultural and economic collaboration to new heights. 

During the event, Consul General Zhao, together with RED Macario D.Gonzagapresented certificates of completion to DA personnel who had participated in the "Training Workshop on New Technologies in Tropical Agriculture for Developing Countries" held in Hainan, China.
