The City of Santa Ana was recently named Client of the Year by the Orange County chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies for demonstrating outstanding leadership, collaboration, and support of the engineering community.
The City was recognized during an awards ceremony June 3 at the Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia, which drew industry leaders, public agency partners, and engineering professionals. Mayor Valerie Amezcua, accompanied by City staff, accepted the award and gave remarks on behalf of the City of Santa Ana.
The event, themed "Engineering the Future," aimed to celebrate innovation, leadership, and impact in engineering, and honor outstanding projects completed across Orange County in 2025.
City staff work closely with our engineering and consulting partners to deliver projects that serve the community, fostering responsible growth and development that will benefit current and future Santa Ana residents. Over $250 million in active construction projects is currently underway across Santa Ana.
