PRESS RELEASE BY THE OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER Speaker leaves Malta to participate in the 6th World Conference of Speakers in Geneva

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, has departed Malta to participate in the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland.​

The conference, organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), brings together speakers of national parliaments from around the world to discuss, among other issues, global parliamentary priorities and cooperation.

Speaker Farrugia is expected to address the conference on July 29th, and on July 30th, he will be one of the panellists during one of the workshops of the same conference.
