Negative Declaration
Wayne County - The North Rose-Wolcott Central School District Board of Education, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed North Rose-Wolcott Central School District 2025 Capital Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the renovations and updates to the district's existing buildings and grounds, as well as construction of a new bus maintenance garage and demolition of the existing bus garage including, but not limited to, the following:

North Rose Elementary School including:

Abatement, classroom renovations and window replacement.

Mechanical, colling, electrical and plumbing infrastructure updates.

Site work including reconfigured parking lot after existing bus garage demolition.

Leavenworth Middle School including:

Abatement, window replacement and mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure updates.

North Rose-Wolcott High School including:
-
Abatement, classroom renovations, kitchen & cafeteria renovations, and roof replacement.

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructure updates including cooling and generator and dust collector replacements.

Site work including reconstruction of baseball, softball and soccer fields with synthetic turf, lighting, and driveway & parking.

New Bus Garage:

An approximate 12,000 square foot single story building with vehicle lifts, bus wash, staff offices, and driver training room.

Construction of a new fuel island with canopy to accommodate existing relocated fuel tanks.

Also bus and staff parking, a roadway to connect to the High School site, utilities, drainage infrastructure, and lighting.
The project is located at 11631 Salter-Colvin Road; 10456 Salter Road; 5957 New Hartford St in the Town of Wolcott and in the Town of Rose, New York.
