With many residents following the future of The Landings Golf Course, we want to keep you informed about the next discussion and ways to follow it.
The Clearwater City Council is anticipated to consider proposals for the potential redevelopment of The Landings Golf Course during its Monday, Oct. 12, work session, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Council is expected to vote Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 6 p.m. on whether to direct staff to negotiate with either applicant. Both meetings will take place in the Clearwater Main Library Council Chambers, 100 N. Osceola Ave.
The proposals were submitted by Porter Development and Clearwater Golf Associates LLC under RFP 56-26, "Comprehensive P3 Model for Redevelopment of The Landing Golf Course."
At the Oct. 12 work session, staff will recap the proposals' history and share the evaluation committee's scoring results. Porter Development LLC and Clearwater Golf Associates LLC will each be invited to give a five-minute presentation. Council will have the opportunity to ask the respondent or staff questions and discuss the proposals. The work session is open to the public, but public comment will not be taken. Council will take public comment and continue its discussion at the Oct. 14 meeting.
