LAW ENFORCEMENT FUNERAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY
The funeral services and processions for Fallen Riverside Sheriff's Deputy Tim Corlew will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, so we want our Riverside community to be aware of the various locations where streets may be closed and traffic will be affected.
Beginning at 7:00 a.m., eastbound traffic along Magnolia Avenue, between Adams Street and Jefferson Street, will be closed until approximately 9:15 a.m. The Riverside Sheriff's Office will have a procession from Acheson & Graham Mortuary (7944 Magnolia Avenue) to Harvest Christian Fellowship Church (6115 Arlington Avenue) beginning at 9:00 a.m. That route will be:
- Eastbound Magnolia Avenue to Madison Street
- Northbound Madison Street to Arlington Avenue
- Westbound Arlington Avenue to Adams Street into Harvest Christion Fellowship Church
During the service at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, Arlington Avenue and Adams Street will be open as normal. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA3OHmo1NMg.
Once the funeral service concludes, another law enforcement procession will take place along the following route in Riverside at approximately 12:30 p.m.:
- West on Arlington Avenue from Harvest Christian Fellowship Church to Crestview Drive in Norco
- South on Crestview Drive to Eighth Street
- West on Eighth Street to California Avenue
- South on California Avenue to Sixth Street
- West on Sixth Street to Hamner Avenue
- South on Hamner Avenue to Second Street
- East on Second Street to merge on to southbound 15 Freeway
- South on 15 Freeway to merge on to eastbound 91 Freeway
- Exit eastbound 91 Freeway at Central Avenue
- Eastbound Central Avenue to Olivewood Memorial Park (3300 Central Avenue)
To accommodate the large amount of law enforcement vehicles expected, eastbound Central Avenue at the 91 Freeway will be closed during the burial service at Olivewood Memorial Park. The burial will not be open to the general public.
Community members who wish to honor Fallen Deputy Corlew and show support to his family may line the procession routes. For your safety and for those in the procession, please DO NOT:
- Stand in the street
- Approach the procession
- Join the procession
- Block any public safety or law enforcement vehicles
Please plan your morning and afternoon commutes accordingly, especial for student drop-off at schools nearby that could be affected by the processions.
