A Cyber Strategy That Meets the Moment

Washington, D.C. (March 6, 2026) - Today, President Trump released his Cyber Strategy for America.
The following statement is from USTelecom President and CEO Jonathan Spalter:
"Broadband providers build and defend the networks Americans rely on every day, working hand-in-glove with government partners to keep these networks secure, trusted, and resilient.
As new and more sophisticated threats emerge, America needed a new national cyber strategy that captures the urgency of this moment. The President's strategy rightly recognizes that harnessing America's unique mix of private-sector innovation with public-sector capacity is the best deterrence.
We stand ready to work with the President and his Administration to implement the strategy and continue our commitment to keep Americans and our networks safe."
