I&M Announces Launch of New Billing Support Center Webpage

FORT WAYNE, Ind., May 06, 2026 - Indiana Michigan Power(I&M) announces the rollout of a new Billing Support Center webpage, geared towards providing customers with an online destination to better understand their energy bills, compare rate options, and access tools and programs to help manage energy costs.

The Billing Support Center brings together information and resources designed to make billing and energy decisions easier and more accessible for residential customers across Indiana Michigan Power's service territory. To offer customers greater insight into their bills, there are two new features included in the Billing Support Center. The Rate Finder is a digital tool that helps customers identify the rate option that best fits their energy usage and lifestyle in just minutes. The Quarterly Rate Snapshot provides customers with updated information on what their rate is, whether it has increased or decreased over the past quarter, and what factors caused any changes.

"Many customers are looking for ways to better understand and manage their energy costs, and they want information they can access right away," said Katie Runkle, I&M's Vice President of External Affairs and Customer Experience. "The Billing Support Center provides our customers with straightforward tools to explore rate options, find assistance, and take control of their energy decisions."

Through the Billing Support Center, customers can learn about available payment assistance programs, compare rate options based on usage and budget, and explore opportunities to earn bill credits by saving energy or participating in energy-efficiency rebate programs. The webpage also provides tools to help customers review and understand their bills, including factors that may affect month-to-month changes in energy use.

The Billing Support Center also highlights ways customers can simplify billing and payments by enrolling in online billing, AutoPay and paperless billing options. Additional resources include the Friends & Family Direct Program, which allows individuals to make direct bill payments on behalf of someone they choose.

"The Billing Support Center is designed to make it easier for our customers to be aware of the various options they have around programs, rates, and payment assistance, and to have greater access to information about how their bills are determined," Runkle said.
