Closures for Santa Fe’s Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Santa Fe at the annual Fourth of July Fireworks & Drone Celebration on Saturday, July 4, at General Franklin E. Miles Park. The event takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, food vendors, a spectacular 400-drone light show by Sky Elements, and a fireworks finale.

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable event, please note the following road and park closures.

Road Closures

Beginning at 4:00 p.m., the following roads will be closed to through traffic:

-Siringo Road between Alamosa Place and La Junta Street

-Camino Carlos Rey between Alamosa Drive and Calle de Oriente

Roads will reopen after the event concludes and pedestrian traffic has cleared, approximately 10:30-11:00 p.m.

Please plan your travel accordingly and follow all posted detours, barricades, and directions from traffic personnel.

Park Closures

Beginning Thursday evening through Sunday morning, the following closures will be in effect at Ragel Park:

-The east and west parking lots at General Franklin E. Miles Park will be closed.

-Both synthetic turf fields will also be closed.

The park will remain open to pedestrians, and walk-in access will still be available.

Free Shuttle Service

Free shuttle service will be available from:

-Santa Fe High School

-Milagro Middle School

-Mid-Town Campus

We encourage attendees to use the shuttle service to reduce traffic and parking congestion.

Neighborhood Access

Residents who live within the road closure area may obtain a Neighborhood Pass by visiting:
