On March 18, H.E. Ms Hou Yue, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Norway, attended the members' meeting of the Norwegian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and delivered a keynote speech, sharing insights on China's annual Two Sessions and the 15th Five-Year Plan. More than 60 representatives from the Norwegian business community, think tanks and academies participated in the event.
Ambassador Hou noted that despite the fluctuate international landscape, China's economy has shown strong resilience. Formulating and successively implementing five-year plans has been an important practice of the CPC in governing the country and managing state affairs. China's annual Two Sessions have just concluded and adopted the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan, which sets clear goals for China's development in the next five years. China will stay committed to high-quality development and high-standard opening up, striving to be a champion of global growth, a major buyer in international trade, a pioneer in scientific and technological innovation, and a doer on green transition. China will continue to inject positive energy into the global development and create new opportunities for China-Norway cooperation.
Participants spoke highly of the development blueprint outlined in the 15th Five-Year Plan and expressed keen interest in sharing China's opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
