At 1:28 AM, Troopers arrested Elena Ruggeri, age 33, of 46 Ridge Road, Smithfield, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/ Drugs 1st Offense- B.A.C. .10 to .15 (Phase I: .126, Phase II: .121). The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the City of Cranston. Ruggeri was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult.
