Mr Chan Engages Young Leaders at 17th Munich Young Leaders Roundtable

Minister for Defence, Mr Chan Chun Sing spoke at the 17th Munich Young Leaders (MYL) Roundtable. Held on the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC), the MYL Roundtable brings together over 20 young leaders from governments, think-tanks and the private sector from Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas to discuss issues related to foreign and security policy.

At the session, Mr Chan engaged the participants on the evolving international geopolitical landscape, the security environment in the Indo-Pacific and Singapore's defence and security policies.

On the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference, Mr Chan had engagements with Finland Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen, Lithuania Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas, New Zealand Minister of Defence Judith Collins, Sweden Minister for Defence Dr Pål Jonson, Canada Minister of National Defence David McGuinty and NATO Deputy Secretary-General Radmila Šekerinska yesterday. Mr Chan also met with Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President Dr Anwar Gargash today.
