Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo Holds Friendly Exchange with Kiudang Chung Hwa School

On September 13, H. E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo was invited to visit Kiudang Chung Hwa School, and held a friendly exchange with Chairman of the Board Mr. Yong Boon Tuan, Principal How Moi Hua, as well as teachers and students of the school.

Ambassador Xiao spoke highly of the school's unwavering commitment to education, and its active rolein advancing Chinese language teaching and promoting closer bonds of friendship. He stressed that the Chinese Embassy in Brunei will, as always, continue to support the development of Kiudang Chung Hwa School, and stands ready to work hand in hand with the School and all sectors of Bruneian society to further promote cultural exchanges and enhance people-to-people ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Xiao visited classrooms, and encouraged the students to study Chinese and Chinese culture diligently, and strive to become "young envoys" of China-Brunei friendship.

Afterwards, Ambassador Xiao, together with embassy staff, joined school board members and teachers in a badminton friendly match in the assembly hall. The game was held in a warm and lively atmosphere, further deepening the friendship between the Embassy and the School.
