KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. - Major General Lyle K. Drew and his leadership team are conducting a multi-site visit to DTRA-West and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) to provide executive oversight and engage with regional personnel.
At Kirtland Air Force Base, the journey focused on inspecting nuclear training simulations at the Defense Nuclear Weapons School, reviewing IT and facility updates at the Albuquerque Joint Operations Center, and conducting administrative interviews.
The trip will conclude in San Diego with a high-level military ceremony, including a morning colors ceremony and a graduation parade at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD).
Throughout the visit, the leadership team is prioritizing direct engagement with staff through PT sessions, "All Hands" meetings, and formal leadership briefs.
