HARRISBURG - State Rep. Sheryl M. Delozier (R-Cumberland) is hosting a free spring document shredding event for residents of the 88th Legislative District on Thursday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hampden Township Pool, 5001 Hampden Park Drive in Mechanicsburg.

"Every year, I host a spring and fall shredding event, so my constituents can safely dispose of paperwork containing personal information," said Delozier. "I hope residents take advantage of our spring event, which is a great opportunity to dispose of past years' tax season documents.

"These events are always well-attended. I am looking forward to seeing many friends and neighbors there."

There will be two shredding trucks on-site. There is a limit of four boxes and/or bags per household, and the event is open to residential customers only (no businesses). Please remove paper and binder clips prior to the event. Staples are permitted.

Anyone planning to participate should call Delozier's district office at 717-761-4665 or RSVP online at Rep.Delozier.com/Events. Please note, RSVPs provide a headcount for the shredding company to plan for high capacity. Shredding will be done on-site on a first-come, first-served basis.
