Highlights from the Inauguration of Stony Brook University President Andrea Goldsmith

The Inauguration of Andrea Goldsmith as Stony Brook University's seventh president was a nine-day celebration not only of the university's newest leader, but of an institution that is positioned to be a beacon of public education excellence for the nation and the world.
The Inauguration festivities brought together students, faculty, staff, alumni and everyone connected to the greater Stony Brook University community for a wide range of events and activities. The schedule included academic discussions of quantum science, engineering, leadership, wireless communications, healthcare and artificial intelligence, as well as community events and exhibitions. It all culminated with Goldsmith's investiture as the university's seventh president April 18 at the Stony Brook Arena.
