The University of New Mexico Native American Alumni Chapter hosts a dinner social Wednesday, Feb. 19, at D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro in Albuquerque as the chapter seeks new leadership and recognizes outgoing leaders for their service.
The event is open to UNM alumni and supporters interested in becoming more involved with the Native American Alumni Chapter. In addition to networking and socializing, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about leadership roles within the chapter and help shape its future direction. The evening will also include recognition of the chapter's outgoing leadership for their dedication and contributions over the past two years.
The Native American Alumni Chapter is seeking motivated and engaged alumni who want to strengthen connections with UNM and continue building momentum within the chapter. Leadership positions are voluntary and flexible and focus on planning social events, coordinating awards and recognition receptions, and supporting alumni engagement initiatives. Chapter leaders work closely with an alumni relations officer who provides guidance and support with event planning and budgeting.
The dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Rio Grande private room at D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro on Rio Grande Boulevard. Admission is $10 per person, and space is limited.
Alumni interested in reconnecting with the university and contributing to the continued success of the Native American Alumni Chapter are encouraged to attend. To register for the event, visit unmalumni.com.
