Sass presents at education innovation conference

Lecturer Margaret Sass from the School for the Digital Future recently presented at the 2026 Innovative Education Conference. She led a session titled "Teamwork vs. Tech: When Students Lean Too Hard on AI." The presentation examined how increased reliance on artificial intelligence is reshaping student collaboration.

Drawing on her course TEAM 303, as well as her community-based project courses, Sass shared practical strategies she has implemented to help students balance AI use with strong teamwork skills. The session highlighted the use of AI personas to structure team roles, encourage critical thinking and reduce overall reliance on technology.
