DGA Statement on Colorado GOP Primary Results

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Victor Marx becoming the Republican nominee for governor in Colorado:

"Victor Marx is a con man and an extremist who is only out for himself - and belongs nowhere near the Governor's Mansion. Over the course of this campaign, Marx has peddled dangerous conspiracy theories, lied about his background, and even refused to answer whether he has ever killed a man. He also supports banning abortion and would be in lockstep with Donald Trump and his attacks on Coloradans' health care, jobs, and basic freedoms. Marx is so extreme that even Republicans have said they will not support him - and the DGA will work to ensure that Coloradans reject his dangerous candidacy."
