Rep. Jefferson Shreve Brings Home $11.7 Million for Indiana Infrastructure and Public Safety Projects

Washington, DC - Congressman Jefferson Shreve (IN-06)has secured $11.7 million in federal funding for eight community projects across Indiana's Sixth District. The funding supports roads and bridges, public safety, and clean water projects. These investments were signed into law after sustained advocacy informed by local leaders and constituents across the district.

In his first year in Congress, Rep. Shreve secured the second-highest total funding amount among members of the Indiana House delegation.

Projects include:

  • $1.6 million for reconstruction of County Road 144 in Bargersville.
  • $2.0 million for traffic improvements at the Mt. Comfort Road rail crossing in McCordsville.
  • $1.25 million for a new water treatment plant in Dublin.
  • $1.25 million to connect Glenwood to Connersville's water system.
  • $1.3 million for reconstruction of the Dunlapsville Road bridge near Liberty.
  • $1.8 million toward reconstruction of the 21st Century Bridge in Richmond.
  • $2.5 million for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Dept for hostile vehicle mitigation barriers and a mobile incident command vehicle.

Congressman Shreve said, "From day one, I've listened to Hoosiers about what their communities need. Roads and bridges that are overdue for repair. Safer neighborhoods. Reliable access to clean water. These are not partisan issues. They're basics. I'm glad to deliver federal resources that strengthen infrastructure, support growth, and improve quality of life across Indiana's Sixth District."
