House Rural Development Committee to Hold Meeting in Blue Ridge

ATLANTA - The House Rural Development Committee, chaired by State Representative Leesa Hagan (R-Lyons), will hold a meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the University of North Georgia Blue Ridge Campus in Blue Ridge, Ga.

During the meeting, committee members will hear testimony regarding rural healthcare and transportation issues. A detailed agenda is forthcoming.

The House Rural Development Committee identifies policies and ideas to enhance economic opportunities across the entire state, particularly in rural areas.
