Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management

On September 25, 2026 the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with UN Under-Secretary-General for General Assembly and Conference Management, Mr. Movses Abelian.

The meeting focused on the practical implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution-adopted at Tajikistan's initiative-on the modalities for the 2028 United Nations Water Conference.

The parties also reviewed practical next steps for advancing the preparatory process and exchanged ideas on future joint collaboration in support of the global water agenda.
