Women in Technology returns with 2026 networking event

Independence Blue Cross (IBX) announces the return of the Women in Technology and Analytics Networking Event. The event will take place on Thursday, April 9, from 3:30 to 6 p.m.at IBX headquarters, 1901 Market St. in Philadelphia, in the Daniel J. Hilferty Center for Innovation.

This in-person event is open to anyone interested in pursuing or progressing in a career in technology and analytics. Attendees can look forward to a fireside chat and Q&A with Sushma Akunuru, SVP and Chief Information Officer at IBX, and Cindy Hoots, SVP, Chief Digital Officer, and CIO at AstraZeneca. A panel of IBX Business Technology Services and Informatics associates will also share insights into industry trends and the evolving technology workplace.

The program will conclude with a networking session where attendees can meet IBX leaders and members of the technology and analytics teams to learn more about IBX's culture and available career pathways.
