Southbound SR-163 Connector to Eastbound I-8 Closed April 18

San Diego - Caltrans will close the southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) Saturday, April 18, from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. for the electrical work.

Southbound SR-163 motorists may take westbound I-8, exit at Taylor Street/Hotel Circle, turn left onto Hotel Circle South to eastbound I-8.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
