The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed on Route 8 in Shelton between Exits 11 and 12 A (Bridge # 569). This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, April 6 and be completed on Friday, April 24, 2026. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by Hammonasset Construction LLC.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane closures on Route 8 from Monday, April 6 to Friday, April 24, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns, and crash units will guide motorists through the work zone.
