TNT Sports Announces Multi-Year Renewal with Accomplished, Versatile Sportscaster Brian Anderson

TNT Sports today announced a multi-year renewal with Brian Anderson, one of the most versatile broadcasters in sports, that will extend his critically acclaimed play-by-play work with the Company to more than 20 years.

Anderson is the voice of TNT Sports' coverage of Major League Baseball - having joined in 2008 to commentate TBS baseball games - and is currently calling his ninth League Championship Series, the ALCS match-up between the Cleveland Guardians and the New York Yankees.

He is also on the call for NBA on TNT regular season and playoffs, college basketball (including TNT Sports' and CBS Sports' joint coverage of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament), and will be a key member of TNT Sports' inaugural U.S. coverage of Roland-Garros starting in 2025. He has also provided commentary for four presentations of the popular golf series - The Match.

"Brian's professionalism and dedication to his craft are evident through his incredible contributions to sports broadcasting over the last 25-plus years," said Craig Barry, Chief Content Officer, TNT Sports. "Even more impressive is his selflessness and commitment to elevate everyone around him - both on air and off. Simply stated, Brian is one of the best in the business! We're proud to have him as a member of the TNT Sports family and look forward to his voice being prominently featured across a wide array of sports properties well into the future."

"TNT Sports is family to me. I've called games for TNT Sports since 2008, and I have no desire to work for anyone else. I'm thrilled to sign this extension and continue for many more years," said Anderson. "The network's desire to continue to grow the portfolio of championship sporting events perfectly aligns with my desire to call prominent games and matches over a wide variety of sports. I grew up playing every sport I cover and am grateful TNT Sports has given me the opportunity to live out my dream behind the microphone for such amazing events."

Anderson has been on the call for some of the biggest moments in recent sports history, including iconic calls of LeBron James breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record in 2023 and Stephen Curry breaking Ray Allen's all-time three-point record in 2021. He also called the second no-hitter in MLB Postseason history - Game 1 of the 2010 National League Division Series between the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies on TBS - when Roy Halladay accomplished the feat.

Anderson is a three-time recipient of the Wisconsin Sportscaster of the Year Award (2013-14, 2017), which is presented by the National Sports Media Association. He has received five Emmy Awards, most recently in 2020 for Outstanding Crafts Achievement for On-Camera Talent.

The Milwaukee-area resident has also been the television voice for the Milwaukee Brewers since 2007 and has been the play-by-play voice of the popular NBA2K video game since 2021.
