The revised City Council meeting schedule for 2026 was approved at the council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13, adding additional public comment opportunities for residents. See a list of upcoming meetings.
The schedule consists of 20 meetings which include public comment, all broken out into daytime and evening sessions. The schedule also includes one additional budget workshop in addition to the previous six that were scheduled on the following days:
For residents attending council meetings, the City has various benefits to accommodate visitors.
Free parking: The City provides free parking for residents. Parking is available at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail (directly in front of City Hall), or behind City Hall in the back area adjacent to West Fifth Street and Forest Park Boulevard.
How to sign up to speak at council meetings: Once the agenda is posted to the City's website on the Thursday prior to the meeting, speakers must register no later than two hours before the start of the meeting for both day and evening meetings.
