Oregon Climate Action Commission to Meet Virtually on May 15, 2026

The Oregon Climate Action Commission will meet on May 15, 2026. The public meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. online.

At this meeting, Commissioners will engage with an expert panel on climate-related transportation issues and provide input on an environmental justice mapping tool being developed by the Environmental Justice Council to help identify communities traditionally unrepresented in government processes and harmed by environmental and health hazards as required by Oregon House Bill 4077.

The Commission will also discuss the 2026 update to the state's consumption-based emissions inventory prepared by the Department of Environmental Quality and will learn of work underway to report on advanced and emerging carbon-free energy technologies as required by Governor Kotek's Executive Order 25-29.

Written comments may be emailed to the Commission. Input received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2026, will be shared with Commissioners in advance of the meeting. Members of the public also have an opportunity during the meeting to make oral comments. In order to provide oral testimony please sign up in advance.
