The City of Memphis' Emergency Warming Centers Update

With Winter Storm Cora passing, the Hospitality Hub has ceased 24/7 Warming Center operations and is moving back to normal operations.

Because of the cold overnight tempertures, The Hospitality Hub will reopen its Warming Center tonight, January 13, 2025 at 10:00 pm, closing Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 9:00 am.

The Hospitality Hub operates the City of Memphis' Emergency Warming Center during extreme cold weather, providing a place of safety and kindness for the unhoused population to shelter from dangerous conditions. Please see the Hospitality Hub's Facebook and Instagram for the most updated details.

Location : To accommodate all guests, there will be TWO locations:

- Single women and families will stay at the Hospitality Hub (590 Washington Ave); and

- Single men and couples will stay at the First Baptist Church (200 East Parkway North)

Transportation : Transportation to both locations is operated by MATA and starting at 9:30 PM those requests can be made by calling a dedicated line 901-297-1680.
