New Merchandise Stand Brings Official Illinois State Fair Gear to Fairgoers
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Fairgoers will have a new way to take home a piece of the Illinois State Fair this year with the addition of a new official merchandise stand on the fairgrounds.
Located on Illinois Avenue across from the Sky Glide, the merchandise stand will be open throughout the fair, offering visitors the opportunity to shop for exclusive Illinois State Fair apparel as well as merchandise from that evening's Grandstand concert.
The merchandise stand will be open each day of the fair from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The first collection of Illinois State Fair merchandise features four adult T-shirts, one adult sweatshirt, and two youth T-shirts, with prices ranging from $35 to $80.
The collection celebrates some of the Illinois State Fair's most beloved traditions including the butter cow, horse racing and the iconic corn dog. Whether you're looking for a keepsake from your day at the fair or official gear from your favorite Grandstand artist, the new merchandise stand offers something for every fair fan.
As a reminder, tickets are on sale now for all Grandstand shows and auto races on ticketmaster.com and in-person at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand Box Office.

Route 66 Centennial Celebrations
The Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield are on the historic path of Route 66, providing a front-row seat to the 100th anniversary celebrations happening all year. In recognition of a century of Route 66, a road that started in Illinois and helped shape America, Miles of Smiles is the 2026 Illinois State Fair theme. Because that's what this road and the Illinois State Fair have always delivered. Miles of memories, miles of music, and miles of smiles shared right here in the heart of Illinois. Now through August 20, visitors to the Illinois State Museum's "Miles of Memories: Stories of Route 66" exhibit can receive a voucher for one adult weekday admission to the Illinois State Fair.
