Participation is now open for two important studies: the Home Care and Hospice Salary & Benefits Studies, both conducted in cooperation by LeadingAge's partner Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS), and LeadingAge is encouraging our members to consider participation. These studies are recognized as the standard for reliable and comprehensive compensation data across various positions throughout care settings, which provide organizations with valuable insights to benchmark their practices and make informed decisions.
LeadingAge Partner Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service (HCS) has just opened up participation for the annual Home Care and Hospice Salary & Benefits Studies and LeadingAge encourages our members to consider participating. Home Care and Hospice providers are asked to complete either of the studies' questionnaires by August 11th. The results for the Home Care report will be published in October 2025; whereas, the Hospice Report will be available in November.
Both Reports are published by HCS in cooperation with LeadingAge and the Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA).
Last year's Home Care Report contained data from over 1,079 home health agencies. The Hospice Report contained data from 797 hospice agencies. Both reports cover salaries/bonuses and hourly/per visit rates for 60 positions, with job data reported by auspice type, revenue size, region, state, and CBSA. Also included are 19 fringe benefits, planned salary increases, productivity/caseload, and data on visit and shift differentials.
To participate:
There is no cost to participate in the studies. LeadingAge member participants may purchase the results at over 50% off of either report's nonparticipant rate.
