No Delay in Garbage & Recycling Collection

Due to the Independence Day holiday falling on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Gill Hauling will NOT delay garbage and recycling collections. Residential garbage and recycling will be collected on the regular schedule.

To help prevent fires or damage to solid waste containers, please follow these guidelines:

  • Thoroughly soak all fireworks in water prior to disposal.
  • Do not place used charcoal in the container.

Remember: Fireworks are hazardous waste and are not recyclable.

The Citizen's Convenience Center at 5800 28th Street will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
