The Ferber Company Announces Grand Opening of Tru/Home2 Suites by Hilton at The Crossings at Burlington

BURLINGTON, N.J. - The Ferber Company ("Ferber"), a privately held real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, announces the completion and grand opening of the dual-branded Tru/Home2 Suites by Hilton at The Crossings at Burlington.

A key component of the broader Crossings at Burlington development, the hotel is strategically located at the intersection of Mount Holly Road and Bromley Boulevard, with convenient access to both I-295 and the New Jersey Turnpike, just outside of Philadelphia.

The grand opening celebration took place on April 21, welcoming community members, local officials, and project partners. The addition of Tru/Home2 Suites marks the first new hotel development in the area in several years, further enhancing Burlington's appeal as a regional destination for both business and leisure travelers.

Positioned at the rear of the thriving Crossings at Burlington retail center, the hotel complements a growing mix of national tenants, including Raising Cane's, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and America's Tire-all making their New Jersey debut-as well as Panera Bread and Sleep Number. Additional development is underway, including Navy Federal Credit Union, a new partner for Ferber.

Ferber continues to advance future phases of the project, with development opportunities remaining in Phase II and Phase III, including an approximately eight-acre parcel suitable for a junior anchor or multiple pad sites. The team is actively exploring opportunities to bring additional sit-down dining options to the center in response to community interest.

Justin Hollander, Vice President of Development Services at Ferber Company North, shares that without the Township of Burlington, Mayor Pete Green, and the council, the redevelopment of this area would not have happened.

The company began work on the redevelopment in 2020 after the property went under contract, transforming the vacant Burlington Center Mall into a vibrant mixed-use destination. The project has delivered new retail, hospitality, and residential components, contributing to local job creation and introducing new housing options, including affordable units for area families.
