Mail-in Ballots Now Available for the 2025 City Election

Mail-in ballots are now available for the 2025 City Election and registered voters may request theirs at www.mailmyballotma.com or by calling the Lowell Elections Department at (978) 674-4046. Voters with requests pending should expect ballots to arrive in mailboxes by next week and may track their ballot's progress at www.trackmyballotma.com.

Voters are reminded that in-person Early Voting will be available at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway, Saturday, October 25, through Friday, October 31.

Otherwise, voters may cast their ballot in-person on Election Day at their normal polling locations from 7:00AM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, November 4.

Voters may check their status, update or file a new registration and find their polling location at www.voteinma.com. The deadline for new or updated voter registrations is Saturday, October 25.

The City of Lowell has a "hybrid" district and at-large electoral system for electing City Councilors and School Committee members. The City Council consists of eleven members with three elected city-wide by all voters and eight elected to districts by the voters of that district. The School Committee consists of six members with two elected city-wide by all voters and four elected to districts by the voters of that district. All City Council and School Committee offices will appear on the 2025 Election ballots for two-year terms.
